What To Expect
At Calvary, you will experience friendly people, contemporary worship music, and relevant teaching through the Bible, in a comfortable environment. We want to make you feel as welcome as possible. By visiting our webcast archives you can gain a glimpse to what an average service experience looks like.
A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.

A Message from Pastor Mike
I would like to thank you for visiting our web site. I know looking for a Church can be a challenging experience at times, therefore, I want you to understand what we are about, so you can determine if Calvary Chapel is a good fit for you and your family.
It is my hope that your visit to Calvary Chapel would be refreshing and encouraging. You will find the atmosphere at CCE to be informal and nontraditional. Our worship style is fresh and a vital element of each church service. As members of God's family, we are focused on knowing Jesus and growing together in faith. In Calvary Chapel fashion we journey through the Bible together, verse by verse, with an uncompromising dedication to the Word of God
In Acts chapter 20 Paul told the leaders of the Church, “I have not failed to declare to you the whole counsel of God.” Later he would write to a young pastor Timothy instructing him, “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” Why is this so important? Because it is through God’s Word that we learn about God and grow in relationship to Him.
Paul’s message embodies our mission and passion at Calvary Chapel of Emmett. We know that as we go through God’s Word, book by book and chapter by chapter, that we will be changed. The Apostle Peter understood this when he wrote to the believers, “As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby.”
Over the years, as I have taught through the Bible, I am always amazed at the impact it has on lives. People grow, mature, and come to know Jesus in a close and personal way, in a life changing way. The result has been they become what God wants them to become, and they begin to do the things God desires them to do. Because of this, God has used our little fellowship to make a big impact in our community, and around the world. I hope you will decide to join us, open your Bible with us, and allow God to change your life to accomplish His purpose in you.
In His grace,
